“ Black Canyon Bistro truly provides top notch, delicious provisions. The bacon wrapped dates were divine little bites of goodness. I could have eaten them like candy. The scallops were excellent, tender and flavorful, as they should be. The elk carpaccio was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, on top of simply being a high quality meat. The shrimp was cooked just right (I will say it was too salty though). The Brussels sprouts were just fine, but could be improved upon. Friends had the French onion soup and the steak & endive which they said were excellent as well. Our sweet waitress Aleah (probably spelling that wrong) took great care of us! looking forward to returning. P.s. they have happy hour even on weekends 4-6! The appetizer menu is 10, and 2 off signature cocktails and wines. ”
“ The food was prepared well and had a lovely presentation. Our server, Jen, was amazing! Great atmosphere! Casual and friendly. Appreciated the Happy Hour specials. ”
“ After a very long day of driving, we wanted to sit, relax, and enjoy a great meal. We did not have to wait to be seated, which was a plus. We did sit in the bar area. We were also pleasantly surprised to have live music. The items we enjoyed were the Seared Tuna, the Blue Cheese Mac, Herbert Mashed Potatoes, the Chicken Fried Steak, and a salad with grilled chicken. The Buttercake was amazing! It is so big that the four of us shared it. We had a great experience. We love trying new places when vacationing. ”
“ By far some of the best service ever! Our waitress Kate was incredible!! She was Fun, Polite and very knowledgeable with the menu! The food was Excellent and very reasonably priced!!! Our new go to spot when visiting Red Lodge!!! ”
“ My first time in Red Lodge, someone told me Black Canyon Bistro was great, it lived up to the recommendation. I sat at the bar and had nice drinks but the star of the show was the ribeye steak, simply prepared but every bite was delicious. The atmosphere is upscale and the service matches the atmosphere. ”
“ Great food, lovely staff working here. We had chicken Alfredo and 16oz ribeye, very delicious. ”
“ We hired Black Canyon Bistro to cater our weekend event and we couldn’t have been more pleased!! Their food was AMAZING, service was great, communication was prompt, clear and easy and prices were very reasonable. Booking them was one of the best decisions we made for this event. I wish I’d gotten more pictures! I was too busy enjoying the meals! ”
“ Came in for a bite with friends. Everyone was friendly, the food was great and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, goat cheese bacon wrapped dates for apps. The elk medallions are delicious. The French dip is a must. I can't speak for the salmon or the duck but I heard great things. ”
